What You Can Expect:

22 foot Arca Panga, well-appointed for inshore fishing, cruising, diving or surf trip. This is a no frills fishing boat, so does not have a bunch of padded seating or other amenities (ie: no toilet). The boat is available for bareboat charters (no captain, you are the captain).

It has a bench seat for 2 (3 if one is a kid), a cooler seat that fits 1 person and will include a bean bag seat if needed.  Very seaworthy, but due to narrow beam (6.5 feet) will ride a wet with a headwind when in the ocean.  One of the best rigged pangas you will find in socal, 30+ gallon bait tank will carry up to 1 full scoop of bait. Fishes up to 4 adults, can accommodate up to 6 passengers for cruising. Has GPS/fishfinder combo, VHF, and compass. Also has a total of 12-rod holders and plenty of storage. Powered by a 70hp Yamaha 4 stroke, cruises at 18-20 mph, maxes out at 24-26 mph dependent on the weight of crew and gear.  Can include optional bow mount trolling motor, which makes fishing the bay and kelp beds very enjoyable as you have complete control of your drift and can even “anchor” on a spot with the GPS spot lock feature. The boat has low freeboard, so if you dive or surf you have easy access back into the skiff.  

*We recommend bringing waterproof windbreakers and an additional warm layer (Even in the summer) as weather conditions may vary. If you have rubber boots that is highly recommended for safety (no hooks in the feet) and comfort (wet feet SUCK!)

*We highly encourage passengers to bring reusable water bottles (I will harass you nicely if you show up with single use bottles J), single-use plastic is detrimental to marine life, and ultimately human life, you are what you eat! Please ensure all trash, including fishing line ends up in cooler.
